loaded Argentine French Fries, featuring crispy fries topped with garlic, melted cheese, and chimichurri sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 (32-ounce) package frozen crinkle cut French fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup fresh Italian parsley (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Cheese (mozzarella, provolone, or other)
Instructions:
- Cook the fries per the package directions. Remove from oven but leave the oven on. Pour the fries into a large mixing bowl.
- Heat the oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn the garlic. Pour the oil over the fries and toss well. Pour back onto the baking sheet. Place back in the oven for 2 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt and parsley. Mix everything together well, top with cheese, and serve hot.
Notes:
Chimichurri is good on top of the fries or as a dip (recipe).
